How-to Make Sure Your Website or Blog is Geotargeting a Specific Region

Google Buzz

Go to Google Webmaster Tools and sign in just as you would sign in for your gmail account it should be the same.  Just follow the instructions where it says adding a website. Geotargeting is extremely important, especially if you are selling a certain product or service to a specific region, but no one in that region seems to be finding your site.

If you are using wordpress i recommend you first download the Robot Meta WordPress Plugin first. Watch the video on how to set this up correctly. At the bottom of the plugin you will see a section to add your Google webmaster tool key. This key is used for Google to verify your website and make sure that all the links are functioning.

Hope this was helpful, take care
